Teaching students to think and problem-solve like scientists is one of the goals of VRG’s science department.
This week Biology 1 students got a chance to practice their skills in an inquiry-based lab which used maggots to study behaviour.
Students developed their own lab procedure and did a fantastic job coming up with creative ways of recording their results using their mobile phones and the PhotoBooth app.
