VRG Leadership students recently visited British International Primary School to complete their assignment. Their task was to instruct the BIPS younger students to do something or to learn something new. Students could choose whatever the topic they wanted …. everything from how to tie a knot to math strategies to how to remember things.
The younger students were very respectful and curious. They really listened and asked good questions.
Our students showed that they had mastered an important leadership skill: how to teach something. More importantly, they realized how great it can be when you help someone else learn. Isn’t that the kind of leader we want in our society in the future?
Thanks to Sue for setting us this engaging assignment, for taking the kids out of the classroom, and for helping these students become leaders. And, thanks to our students for reminding the rest of else of their enormous potential!
