To be a leader you have to practice, just ask our students …

leadership kids visit bpsVRG Leadership students recently visited British International Primary School to complete their assignment.  Their task was to instruct the BIPS younger students to do something or to learn something new.  Students could choose whatever the topic they wanted …. everything from how to tie a knot to math strategies to how to remember things.

The younger students were very respectful and curious.  They really listened and asked good questions.

Our students showed that they had mastered an important leadership skill:  how to teach something.  More importantly, they realized how great it can be when you help someone else learn.  Isn’t that the kind of leader we want in our society in the future?

About kristylundstrom

I currently work as the Managing Director of Viktor Rydberg Schools. I am a student of learning. I am interested to see where it happens, when it happens, and how it happens. I am also a math and computer science teacher. I have lived in Belgium and in the USA. I really appreciate my multi-cultural environment - I believe it adds dynamics to our school.
