At VRG, many students study rhetoric. This week the two rhetoric courses took on each other in a friendly competition in the form of serious and disciplined debate.
Practicing what they have learned in rhetorics class – how to make your point, how to argue for your ideas, how to convince someone else, how to combat the other team’s points, tempo, tone, and more … students went at it in the aula on Thursday with an audience of peers.
The debate followed the World Schools Style Debate format.
