On Nov 22-23, four VRG-Djursholm staff members attended an intensive leadership training – Utvecklande Ledarskap: “Developmental leadership“ is a leadership development program characterized by a leader who acts as a role model, raises moral and ethical questions, as well as acts from a visible sense of common values.
This leadership program is based on research and intensive program developed by the Swedish Defence College (Försvarshögskolan: www.fhs.se)
After this training sessions, nearly all staff at our school have been trained . . .
For the Viktor Rydberg organization, developing leadership is a priority. Since 2010, nearly 200 employees within the entire organization (all 4 schools and the main office) have attended Utvecklande Leadarskap training.
“The fact that we have all attended the UL training gives us a common language and common framework for our important work with our common values/värdegrund” says VR School Superintendent, Kerstin Hallén. “Yes, this is an ambitious investment in our staff – Every employee goes through this training because we believe that in a learning organization like ours, every staff member is a leader.”
