Forensic archaeology discussed at VRG …

20140424_123930_1VRG’s Forensic Science class was lucky enough to have Dr. Laila Kitzler Åhfeldt from the Swedish National Heritage Board, Visby and Archaeological Research Laboratory, visit this week.

Dr. Kitzler Åhfeldt discussed how forensic archaeology has been used at Birka and other places in Sweden to help us gain insight more about the Viking Age and Sweden’s past.

Thanks Dr. Åhfeldt for sharing your knowledge with us!

About kristylundstrom

I currently work as the Managing Director of Viktor Rydberg Schools. I am a student of learning. I am interested to see where it happens, when it happens, and how it happens. I am also a math and computer science teacher. I have lived in Belgium and in the USA. I really appreciate my multi-cultural environment - I believe it adds dynamics to our school.
